I Had A Bloody Good Time At House Harker

A few former college buddies land a hit with their web series “Good Cops” and then finance their feature film debut through the Kickstarter campaign, with the lead actor’s mother not only playing the choleric neighbor, but also taking care of the catering – that sounds just after one of these projects where you immediately feel how much fun everyone had while shooting in a family atmosphere, while boring oneself while watching it to death. But the low-budget vampire comedy “I Had A Bloody Good Time At House Harker” offers a pleasant surprise – because the good mood of the makers comes here actually to the audience! In the grotesque, bloody humor tradition of Peter Jackson’s early works “Bad Taste” and “Braindead” (albeit with a lower splatter factor), director Clayton Cogswell delivers a sympathetic-punchy “Dracula” update… (See the full review at Filmstarts)
